GIWA FC DRAWS SUNSHINE STARS IN FEDERATION CUP

The Round of 64 matches of the 2016 men’s Federation Cup competitions were unveiled on Thursday at the draw ceremony conducted by the Nigeria Football Federation at the FIFA Technical Centre, Abuja.

Among the matches to look forward to are NPFL teams Sunshine Stars FC against Giwa FC, Kano Pillars against Gateway FC and Imo State champions Papilo FC against high –flying Rivers United.

The matches will be played on 25^thand 26^thMay across the federation.
NFF’s 1^stVice President and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi represented the NFF President at the event. The General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, was also there alongside NFF Executive Committee member, Alhaji Yusuf Ahmed Fresh, Acting Director of Competitions, Mr. Bola Oyeyode and Chairman of the Ondo State Football Agency, Hon. John Ola Mafo.
